Recent findings from a study analyzing 2.8 billion roof images reveal that heat, humidity, and heavy rainfall are causing roofs across the United States to deteriorate faster. This exposure to harsh weather conditions could potentially not be accounted for in conventional catastrophe models. The study was conducted by Nearmap, a prominent property intelligence provider based in Salt Lake City.
