Health authorities have reported a total of 5,632 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 187,439. Additionally, there were 63 new deaths recorded, raising the total number of fatalities to 8,251. The recovery count has also increased by 4,121, with a total of 152,387 patients now recovered from the virus. This surge in cases has resulted in an increase in hospitalizations, with 1,946 individuals currently receiving treatment, out of which 412 are in critical condition. The government continues to emphasize the importance of following safety guidelines to curb the spread of the virus.
