In Atlanta, Dr. Katie Paul Friedman, a scientist at UL Research Institutes’ Chemical Insights, was honored with the 2026 Achievement Award by the Society of Toxicology. The award acknowledges her pioneering work in computational toxicology and advancements in new approach methodologies (NAMs) that are revolutionizing chemical safety evaluation. Dr. Paul Friedman, also the Director of the Center for Informatics and Screening at Chemical Insights, was commended for her outstanding contributions to the field.
