In London, Westinghouse Electric Company has secured MoUs with six British suppliers to aid nuclear new build projects utilizing AP1000® and AP300™ technologies in the UK and globally. The MoUs strengthen Westinghouse's local supply chain to assist the UK in achieving its target of boosting nuclear generation by up to 24GW by 2050. Notable agreements were signed with William Cook Cast Products, Trillium Flow Technology, and Curtiss-Wright Controls (UK), among others.
