In Bellevue, Washington, an investor group headed by professional golfer Bryson DeChambeau has purchased Sportsbox AI, a prominent company specializing in kinematic AI technology and 3D motion capture for coaching and training through mobile sports and fitness apps. The acquisition was combined with the introduction of the Sportsbox AI Motion Intelligence (SAMI) AI Assistant by DeChambeau. The SAMI AI Assistant will be integrated into the Sportsbox app, supported by Google Cloud’s AI technology, and is scheduled to launch later this year.
