Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) recently inaugurated a 65,000-square-foot Engineering Center at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Research Park in Daytona Beach, Florida. This facility will concentrate on engineering design, R&D, and prototyping for Defense, Space & Security Air Dominance programs and advanced technologies. The new center is anticipated to generate approximately 400 high-paying jobs in Daytona Beach and Volusia County as Boeing enhances its workforce. Mori Hosseini, chairman of Embry-Riddle's board of trustees, expressed excitement about Boeing's arrival in the community, highlighting how their dedication to advancing aerospace technology bolsters the area's standing in the aerospace industry. Notably, Boeing also disclosed a $100,000 investment to support this venture.
