A research study is underway to assess the effectiveness of AtaCor's new Atala™ lead in combination with Abbott's novel EV-ICD pulse generator. The study aims to examine a unique parasternal extravascular ICD method for managing critical ventricular tachyarrhythmias. The trial is being conducted in SAN CLEMENTE, Calif., and was initiated on July 7th. This evaluation will focus on the treatment of life-threatening ventricular tachyarrhythmias, providing valuable insights into this innovative approach.
