A networking upgrade, CN5000, has been formally accepted by Cornelis in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The upgrade supports a crucial compute partition in Texas Advanced Computing Center's (TACC) Stampede3 supercomputer. Over 600 compute nodes have been enhanced to boost performance and scalability for scientific computing tasks benefiting the U.S. open science and open research community. The upgrade enables faster completion of simulations and aids in handling more intricate workloads.
