Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (stock symbol: 6503) from Tokyo has been chosen by the Japan Organization for Metals and Energy Security (JOGMEC) as a contractor for testing technologies utilizing satellite data to detect and quantify greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The project, open for public participation, is slated to be executed within the ongoing fiscal year until March 2027. After being picked, Mitsubishi Electric officially inked an agreement with JOGMEC to participate in this initiative.
