On June 16, 2025, in Shanghai, China, Dada Nexus Limited (NASDAQ: DADA, also known as “Dada”) disclosed the finalization of its merger with JD Sunflower Merger Sub Limited. JD Sunflower Merger Sub Limited is a fully-owned subsidiary of JD Sunflower Investment Limited, itself a subsidiary of JD.com, Inc. Through the Agreement and Plan of Merger finalized on April 1, 2025, involving the Company, Parent, and Merger Sub, Dada became completely owned by Parent due to the merger. Consequently, Dada is no longer publicly listed following this move.
