In Seattle, there is a new report from Redfin indicating that house hunters are increasingly interested in the climate-risk section of home listings when major natural disasters occur. Leading up to the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, Redfin users clicked into the climate-risk section of California home listings an average of 4.2% of the time in the 90 days before the fires. This trend, however, tends to diminish quickly. The report comes from Redfin, the real estate brokerage powered by Rocket.
