In Costa Mesa, California, a team of four students from Fisk University won the #IYKYK Pitch Competition, sponsored by Experian and HomeFree-USA. The team, known as Team FinLit, consisting of Ansana Regmi, Destiny Marshall, Remilekun Ore, and Sovit Lekhak, secured the top prize of a $40,000 scholarship for their innovative business idea. Their proposal, “FinLit HQ,” aims to integrate financial literacy and credit education into the coming-of-age journey of young adults. The concept involves a tailored gaming platform designed for teenagers.
