In Chicago, ComEd crews are close to completing restoration efforts following four rounds of severe weather affecting northern Illinois starting Thursday. A total of approximately 297,000 customers were impacted. As of 11:30 a.m. Sunday, power had been restored to over 283,000 customers, leaving about 14,000 still without service. Nearly 95 percent of the affected customers have had their power restored.
