In Toronto, RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX: REI.UN) has appointed Franca Smith as the Interim Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately, while Dennis Blasutti is on temporary medical leave. Smith, who has been with RioCan since 2017 and was previously the Vice President of Finance, will now take on the role of Senior Vice President of Finance. She will be responsible for overseeing the Trust's financial reporting, controls, corporate taxation, accounting, and other related functions.
