In Los Angeles, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) commended Member States' involvement in the 2026 United Nations High-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS. They highlighted that numerous individuals with HIV lack access to critical treatment, and approximately 1.2 million people contract HIV annually. While governments reiterate their dedication to eradicating AIDS as a public health crisis, AHF stressed the importance of backing political pledges with the necessary resources to fulfill these commitments.
