Sandisk Corporation, based in Milpitas, Calif., has unveiled its latest technological advancement, the BiCS10 1Tb TLC. This marks the 10th generation of their 3D NAND flash memory technology. The new BiCS10 boasts a remarkable memory density exceeding 29Gb/mm2, achieving a 59 percent increase in bit density. Additionally, it offers impressive interface speed of up to 4.8Gb/s, showing a 33 percent enhancement compared to the prior 8th generation 3D flash memory currently being mass-produced. This innovative technology from Sandisk signifies a significant leap in the field of NAND flash memory.
