Davidson & Co. recently acted as the sole financial advisor in the acquisition deal of Mechanical Service & Systems (MSS) by PremiStar, a company specializing in commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing, and building automation services. MSS, a prominent regional player in mechanical services and installation, was founded in 1984. PremiStar is under the ownership of Partners Group, a worldwide private equity firm managing assets exceeding $185 billion.
