A recent report revealed that sales of electric vehicles (EVs) have doubled over the past year, reaching a record number of 4 million units globally. The surge in sales can be attributed to increasing consumer awareness about environmental issues, as well as government incentives for purchasing EVs. The top three countries leading in EV sales were China, the United States, and Europe. China alone accounted for over half of the global EV sales, with a total of 2.2 million units sold. The United States followed with 1.1 million units, while Europe recorded 700,000 units sold. This positive trend in EV sales indicates a gradual shift towards sustainable transportation options worldwide.
