Regional Health Properties, Inc. announced the sale of Coosa Valley Health and Rehab facility in Glencoe, Alabama for $10.6 million, resulting in a gain of around $3.7 million. $4.9 million in debt was repaid, $4.7 million cash was received at closing after deducting $0.6 million in expenses and $0.4 million in escrow for tax liabilities. The company plans to utilize the remaining funds for general corporate needs, expecting release of some of the escrowed amount.
