Zilliz, a company based in Redwood City, California, has introduced the public preview of Zilliz Vector Lakebase as part of the Zilliz Cloud release. This new product combines the widely used open-source vector database, Milvus, with a shared data foundation designed specifically for lakes. Vector Lakebase focuses on maintaining Zilliz Cloud's real-time vector search capabilities, which are utilized by well-known companies like Zillow, OpenEvidence, Exa, Filevine, MiniMax, and over 10,000 other enterprises and AI teams.
