A fire broke out at Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc.'s facility in Jesup, Georgia at around 10:00 p.m. on April 4 during a regular maintenance outage. The fire was swiftly controlled and put out by the company's on-site crew and local emergency responders. Fortunately, there were no injuries or impacts beyond the facility. The incident occurred in the digester area. Rayonier has commenced standard post-incident procedures. It was confirmed by NYSE as RYAM, headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.
