In College Station, Texas, K9s.org is taking action to address escalating narcotics activity, school safety issues, and growing pressure on law enforcement resources. The organization is launching a new initiative in the first quarter of 2026, placing a total of 15 grant-funded K9s in key locations across Kentucky, Texas, and Florida. These K9 units will be equipped for detecting narcotics, explosives, accelerants, and will also serve as patrol dogs. This initiative aims to bolster response capabilities in areas facing the most pressing security challenges.
