At the 2025 INCLUSION · Conference on the Bund in Shanghai, Alipay announced that the user base for Alipay Tap! has reached 200 million users, doubling from 100 million users just a few months prior in April 2025. The system aims to streamline transactions and service access by allowing users to simply tap, providing a more convenient alternative to QR code scanning.
